Alerts
An urgent note emails everyone the moment it is flagged, then chases until somebody resolves it.
Who gets them
| Person | Devices | In-app | Text | Urgent | Important | Morning summary | Payments | Orders | Test |
|---|
Saved the moment you change it. In-app, Email and Text are how somebody is reached; Urgent, Important, Morning summary, Payments and Orders are what reaches them. In-app is the bell in the top bar and is on by default — a bell that is empty until something needs doing costs nobody anything, where an email does.
Morning summary is one banner at 6:30am listing everything waiting for that person, never one per thing. Payments and Orders add the money items to that summary and only mean anything for an admin. All three need a phone with banners turned on — somebody showing no devices gets nothing whatever is ticked.
On an iPhone or iPad, open the app in Safari, press Share, then Add to Home Screen, and turn banners on from there. Apple does not allow them from a browser tab. On Android and on a computer the button in your own row is all it takes.
Chasing an unresolved note
Nothing repeats until the cron Worker is deployed. Pages has no scheduler, so only the first alert fires today — it is sent inline and does work. These numbers are stored and read by the chase the moment something can run it.
Diary tasks
The activities the crew logs hours against, and the groups they sit in. Jobs are not here — they stay on Jobs, which is where you work with them rather than set them up.

Drag the handle beside a task to reorder it, or to drop it into another group. Arrow keys do the same once a handle has focus.

Job types
What kind of job it is. This is the list the New job form offers, and each
type carries the tasks a job of that type starts with.

Paste a list of tasks in
Colours
What decides the colour of a task on the chart. A colour set on the task
itself always wins — this is only what happens when nothing has been set.
Colours assigned by name or trade
Take the colours off a job
Unforeseen days
A percentage of the booked days, added as allowance on the trades where the
weather actually costs you.
Xero invoicing
Where a progress payment invoice goes, and what it looks like when it gets there.
What comes off the first payment
How a payment looks on the programme
Suppliers
Standard lead times, and the task trigger each supplier's clock runs back from.
Column M of a quote is matched against this list.
Inspections
Which inspections a job gets, and where they sit in the build — decided by whether
the job is a DA, a CDC, or has no council approval at all.
Site Safety
What a form insists on before it can be submitted. These are yours — Safety keeps them per person rather than per company, and moving them here has not changed that.

A circle round each open site. An Android phone with the app installed signs its owner in to the site's register when they walk into it.
